HWZ Deal Alert: 26th May 2017

Got deal, got talk! GDGT! =)

Is payday coming soon? Here are some deals to really stretch that dollar.

Creative Outlier Sports

The Creative Outlier Sports is a Bluetooth in-ear headset for active-lifestyle users. It’s lightweight at 15g, sweat-proof, and wireless – making it ideal for exercise that requires repetitive motion that would’ve normally interfered with a wired headset. It supports AptX audio with its 6mm drivers, and boasts a maximum uptime of 11 hours.

You can participate in Massdrop’s group order, since each piece is now going at US$49.99 (S$69.28). It’s much lower than the original S$129 listed on Creative’s official website. The Massdrop order closes in three days (as of writing).

LG G6

The LG G6 packs a huge 5.7-inch display into a body that’s smaller than last year’s 5.3-inch G5. LG has done this by stretching the display out, giving it an 18:9 aspect ratio, and eliminating wasted space at the top and bottom. The end result is a gorgeous, modern-looking phone. The dual camera setup from the LG G5 and V20 returns on the G6, and both normal and wide-angle camera lens are the same 13-megapixels.

It’s only a little more than a month since the LG G6 was officially available to Singapore at S$988. Lazada’s very own listing priced their units at S$790 – almost 20% off. There’s even an option for buyers to pay in six-month or 12-month installments too. You can read our LG G6 review here.

OnePlus 3T

In a nutshell, the OnePlus 3T is everything that you love about the OnePlus 3, only made better with new upgrades. There’s a bigger 3,400 mAh battery, the Snapdragon 821 processor, and 16-megapixels cameras (front and rear). Outwardly, OnePlus 3T is identical to the OnePlus 3 with a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED screen for vivid colors, an aluminum uni-body in either Gunmetal or Soft Gold finishes.

This group buy on Qoo10 brought the original S$799 retail price down to only S$600. It’s worth a go, but the group order will cease in about five days (as of writing), so you’ve got to move fast if you want a discount for an already affordable flagship smartphone.
