2.) SanDisk Ultra 3D SSD (1TB)

Looking to speed up an old computer? The simplest way is to put in an SSD. Offering sequential read speeds up to 560MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 530MB/s, the 1TB SanDisk Ultra 3D SSD (2.5-inch SATA III) is now going for US$149.49 on Amazon, down from its usual US$198. Amazon ships this drive to Singapore too, and with shipping cost factored in, you’re at somewhere around S$223, which is a good chunk off the ~S$320 shops here are charging.

3.) Amazon Kindle Paperwhite

If you read a lot of ebooks, you should probably get a Kindle. The Paperwhite, which has a 6-inch, 300ppi display and a built-in light, is now available for Prime members for US$80 (U.P: US$120). The only hitch is that Amazon doesn’t ship this to Singapore, so you’ve to find a forwarder.
